RAL2005 is a Rotterdam based office focusing on the design of contemporary architecture and public space. RAL2005 uses the relationship between freedom and responsibility, durability and consumerism, and nature and urbanism to inform their design process.

Their fascination for sustainable development and the spatial consequences of urban processes has resulted in a number of collaborations with research institutions, urban planners and artists. The work of RAL2005 ranges in scale and varies from large hypothetical studies to realized projects.

RAL2005 is currently working on a pavilion on the Maas, the conversion of a parking garage in Rotterdam into a house and a platform for the production of fish and sustainable energy on the North Sea.
